Previously known as Electricité de Provence, the supplier became part of Energie Steiermark following its acquisition from Hydroption.

La Bellenergie provides 100% green and French electricity to individual consumers, businesses, and public authorities. All company teams are located in Toulon. It has grown rapidly, reaching over 100,000 clients by mid-2025, and aims for 250,000 to 500,000 clients by 2030.

An important part of its activity is supplying tailored green electricity solutions to large businesses and local authorities through its dedicated subsidiary, LBE Business. About 30% of individual clients are supplied with VertVolt-certified electricity, the rest via Guarantees of Origin. The company is managed by Jean-Brice Piquet-Gauthier and Augustin Couette.
